ENGLISH OVERVIEW
Electric Vehicle Supply Chain
Battery-electric road vehicles and converging subsystems
This map focuses on battery-electric road vehicles (BEVs). Materials become batteries, electric drives, power converters and thermal systems, which vehicle makers integrate before connecting to charging and battery recovery.
Follow several parallel product chains
Start with batteries and electric drives, then explore thermal management, structures and high-voltage connections. Charging, testing, reuse and recycling extend beyond vehicle production. These are product roles, not evidence that all listed companies supply one another.
Distinguish three levels of evidence
Product pages establish a role, cooperation announcements define a collaboration, and delivery announcements confirm a particular shipment. Historical announcements do not establish all current orders.
- Technology cooperation, June 21, 2024: TI and Delta announced work on onboard charging and power technologies.
- Framework agreement, July 28, 2025: BASF and CATL announced a cathode-active-material agreement; it does not establish delivery volume.
- Delivery announcement, September 11, 2023: EVgo received Delta 350 kW fast chargers, within the scope of that announcement.
Battery manufacturing and maturity
Explore materials, electrodes, assembly, formation, testing and pack integration. LFP versus nickel-based describes cathode chemistry; semi-solid versus all-solid-state describes electrolyte design. These are not mutually exclusive alternatives on one axis.
Companies by industry role
Connected industry roles
Links describe supply, classification, technology or services. They do not establish transactions between individual companies.
